Design & Build

HEI markets Engineering and Manufacturing services to our many customers. Typically a customer will approach us with a specific need for Automation or other Equipment. Highland Engineering takes those needs and turns them into a finished project.  Projects include design and build of equipment to produce a product, design and build of a product, and build only to a customer’s design. We do a large amount of work with the Department of Defense, including design and development, build to a government design, and build to a performance specification.

Water Treatment

Highland Engineering has great experience in the field of  water treatment.  From pilot-scale equipment to large industrial and military systems Highland is your one-stop source.  Our customer base includes the Government (Military and the US Bureau of Reclamation), Automotive Companies (first and second tier), and many industrial companies including Pharmaceutical firms.

Highland produces equipment for all facets of water treatment including the following:

• Deionization Control Systems
• Ultrafiltration Mobile Systems
• Nanofiltration Pilot Systems

Production Welding and Stamping

Highland Engineering, Inc. has many manufacturing capabilities in house.  The stamping capabilities include high-speed presses and high tonnage capacity. 

HEI has a large welding area that can support the customer’s need.  We have certified welders and processes.  We can weld almost any material, including; mild steel, aluminum, stainless, and copper-nickel.
